‘Raksha’ Forest School takes inspiration from the protective and nurturing essence of the mother wolf in Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. Our woodland space offers a safe and enriching environment for outdoor education, where individuals of all ages can connect with nature, learn together, and create lasting memories. Come, be a part of our forest family!
Have you heard about Forest School? It's an opportunity that allows children to learn and connect with the outdoors. Pretty cool, right? This idea actually started in Scandinavia, where they believe that being outside and playing in a natural surrounding is important for children's growth and happiness. Recent studies back that up! Turns out, spending time learning outside helps young people understand how to take care of nature, themselves, and others. How awesome is that!
The United Kingdom caught on to this idea in the early 1990s, and now Forest School's are popping up all over the place. They're not just about learning - they're about developing personal, social, emotional, physical, and lifelong skills in young people.
It's like a big adventure that helps you grow in so many ways. So, why not give it a try and see where the forest takes you? 😉🌲🌿
